The Opportunity
Join a high-performing team at Euna Solutions as we transform how governments manage grants. As a Senior Technical Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting our product, Euna Grants. You’ll work directly with customers and internal teams to design, develop, and optimize data integration and reporting solutions that drive real impact in the public sector.
The Challenge
What You’ll Do
- Architect, review, and implement database schemas for ETL and BI reporting solutions in Microsoft SQL Server, AWS Redshift/Postgres, and MySQL.
- Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines that merge data from disparate sources into cloud-based platforms.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and AWS QuickSight.
- Collaborate with customers to gather data requirements, validate deliverables, and provide coaching on data processes.
- Partner with engineering, product, and implementation teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Detect and resolve data quality issues, and implement data audits to ensure ongoing integrity.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements are met across all data processes.
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of data services and workflows.
The Right Fit
Who You Are
- A strong communicator with the ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, RDS, etc.).
- Skilled in developing and supporting data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Passionate about public sector innovation and eager to make a difference.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or technical solutions roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Power BI, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS Redshift, SageMaker, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Advanced knowledge of database design (RDBMS & NoSQL).
- Advanced knowledge of Python.
- Advanced SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and error handling.
- Experience with CI/CD practices for database development.
- Proven experience developing and supporting a data warehouse.
- Experience monitoring real-time and batch ETL processes.
- Ability to maintain documentation for ETL/BI processes and procedures.
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.
- Familiarity with grants management or public sector software is a plus
Location:
Hybrid (3 days in the office per week) – USA (Atlanta, GA) or Canada (Oakville, ON)
