CA$60.00/hr – CA$70.00/hr

Role: Senior UI or Product Designer, specializing in Design Systems.
Duration: 12+ months, 40 hours per week
Our agency client is looking for a Senior Product or UI Designer to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust design system that promotes consistency in user interface design across products.
- Design and document reusable mobile UI components and patterns
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Skills needed:
- 5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer or UX Designer with a focus on design systems.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and accessibility guidelines (ie. WCAG 2.1)
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
