Senior Vice-President, National Administration & Advisor Onboarding
Location: This position will be based out of our Toronto or Winnipeg office.

The opportunity:
Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, National Manager, the Senior Vice-President, National Administration & Advisor Onboarding will play a key role in supporting advisors to meet their daily needs, escalate and resolve issues promptly, and incorporate feedback to drive positive change.
This role will be responsible for (1) the successful onboarding of new advisors, (2) managing the administration resources supporting branches/regions, and (3) assisting the EVP, National Manager with strategic initiatives and change management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee onboarding of new advisors (CIRO Recruitment and M&A).
- Lead the Transition team to ensure a top-tier onboarding experience.
- Collaborate across the firm to develop solutions for a seamless advisory team experience and address arising issues.
- Coordinate with Regional Managers to ensure local connectivity and accountability.
- Work with legal, HR, Compliance, Corporate Development, and other partners to troubleshoot, navigate challenges, and implement new onboarding solutions.
- Manage administration resources supporting branches/regions.
- Lead regional teams, establishing standards, governance, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and support onboarding of new offices/regions.
- Identify efficiencies across teams and resources.
- Create scalable and flexible structures to support growth, including during high-volume periods or absences.
- Assist the EVP, National Manager with strategic initiatives, including content creation and project support.
- Support project implementation considering change impacts on advisory teams and partners.
- Contribute to business needs such as budgeting, goal setting, and KPI monitoring.
- Collaborate with peers and key partners, including Regional Managers, CXO leaders, Legal, Compliance, HR, Communications, Operations, and Finance.
- Gather and share feedback from advisors to promote a collaborative culture.
- Build strong relationships with peers, advisors, and leadership teams.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Post-secondary education or training in business, office administration, HR, or related fields.
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services, working directly with advisors and administrative teams.
- 10+ years in a leadership role, including goal setting, coaching, and supervising staff.
- Experience in operations, project management, or wealth management industry.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Background working with advisory teams or managing administration in larger branches.
- CIRO licensing is an asset.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of budget planning, HR, and customer service procedures.
- High accountability, adaptability, and innovative mindset.
- Commitment to excellent service and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across mediums.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Conditions of employment:
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to travel 0-30% of the time.
