Job Description
The Senior Vice President, Tax Strategy & Oversight is an experienced, strategic and technically proficient tax professional who leads the Tax Strategy & Oversight function. This senior role is responsible for shaping and guiding the Company’s tax planning, strategy, and advisory efforts across Tricon’s U.S and Canadian operations. The incumbent has deep expertise in cross-border taxation and plays a key role in identifying opportunities to optimize our tax structure and efficiency while ensuring ongoing compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Tax Strategy & Planning: Develop and lead the organization’s tax strategy to support our business objectives, drive efficiency, and manage risk in the U.S. and Canada. Maintain relationships and ongoing dialogue with the Company’s shareholder and its external tax advisors.

Advisory: Provide strategic, practical and business-minded tax advice to senior leadership on corporate initiatives, transactions, executive compensation matters and business and investment vehicle structures.

Compliance Oversight: Work with the Tax Compliance team and partner with other internal and external stakeholders to direct compliance activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with planning and strategic goals. Provide input and guidance on tax audit and dispute resolution and on the preparation and review of tax filings and Company financial statements.
