Description
Responsibilities:
Undertakes the design of hosting technology solutions based on the client’s service specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models, to meet client application business requirements and project/initiative deliverables.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe, midrange server, enterprise storage and SAN, and personal computer system technologies.
- Understanding of best practices, OPS directory/messaging standards, infrastructure management, policies, procedures, and procurement processes.
- Ability to gather client business requirements and align with corporate IT strategies and standards.
- Experience in developing solutions and advising on service development activities.
- Knowledge of technology design criteria, security, recovery procedures, and technical specifications for system installation, testing, and performance.
- Experience in planning, migrating, implementing, and supporting large complex system projects.
- Awareness of current technology trends and new products relevant to client needs.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK), analytical tools, and processes.
- Conceptual and analytical skills for assessing client needs and conducting cost/benefit analyses.
- Experience designing and developing large, highly available, mission-critical server applications.
- Experience evaluating existing systems for capacity, performance, and expansion needs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; team-oriented and deadline-driven.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Extensive Curam experience (8 years), including development and technical support.
- Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and operational needs for development teams, including WebSphere, Oracle, Solaris, Cloud support.
