Sous Chef
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be assisting our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. If you have a passion for culinary excellence and enjoy working and leading a team, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
– Plan and execute menus in accordance with our restaurant’s concept and standards
– Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
– Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our high standards
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
– Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
– Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
– Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
