Summary
You will work within an on-call Windows/Linux support team, supporting various customer solutions in a secure environment. Skills in automation, AI, or cloud computing will be assets for future-proofing the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Windows/Linux environments to ensure high availability
- Manage and configure Virtual Server Environments (VSphere, MS Hyper-V, or OpenShift)
- Conduct vulnerability investigations and remediation
- Administer NetBackup and RSA
- Maintain excellent analytical skills
- Create documentation and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and/or Unix
- Understand software development life cycles
- Learn new development languages and techniques
- Hold a Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance
Critical Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible Automation
- Develop and administer security policies and procedures
- Manage user authentication and network security
- Engage with third-party vendors on support and escalation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least one year of experience as a Systems Administrator in Windows/Linux environments
- Experience with Windows Server
- Experience with RedHat RHEL8-10
- Certificate Authority Administration
- Hardware knowledge of Cisco UCS Servers
- Knowledge of SAN (Dell Storage, NetApp, 3PAR), cloud, and switched fabric
- Skills in PowerShell, Python, Perl, C/C++, etc.
- Experience with version control systems
- Familiarity with Change Management processes
- Microsoft MCSA or MCSE (preferably Server Infrastructure)
Additional Requirements
This position requires a valid Government of Canada Security Clearance at Level II (Secret).
Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
