Duration: 6-Month Contract / Possible Extension
Location: Southampton / Kuwait | Hybrid | £55–£85/hr (Inside IR35) | Travel, Accommodation & Expenses Fully Covered

Systems Integration Engineer
We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to support the hands-on build and integration of advanced engineering systems into a large, mobile platform.
This is a practical, site-based role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with hardware, infrastructure, and real-world engineering challenges. The work involves mechanical and electrical system installation, commissioning, and on-site validation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in systems integration, marine, or platform-based engineering
- Comfortable working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Skilled in physical installation: cabling, hardware routing, equipment mounting, etc.
- Hands-on background in engineering environments (not purely design/documentation)
- Willing and able to travel overseas for short-term rotations
- UK work authorization
- SC Clearance Required to Start
Desirable:
- Ex-Forces or Defence engineers (Navy, aerospace, field-based roles)
- Experience with vessels, transport platforms, or autonomous/mechatronic systems
- Background in platform commissioning, field integration, or infrastructure deployment
