As a provider of security services to clients with complex security needs, Paladin Security Group provides comprehensive training programs that prepare you for advancements and help build your resume for a potential career in law enforcement.
Prerequisites include education and hospital experience, with a preference for experience at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication skills, along with good to excellent computer skills, are essential.
The position involves leading a shift, reporting to the Senior Team Leader and STEGH Security Supervisor. Responsibilities include deploying resources, managing Codes, coaching and training guards, and handling book-offs.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Ontario Security Guard License
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn, troubleshoot, and support security software systems
- Critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster a team environment
- Motivation and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Familiarity with Lenel, TrackTik, and Prospective software
- Minimum one year of leadership experience (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
Certification Requirements
- Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
- Valid Ontario Security License
