Position Overview
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider. We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer with experience in Jira, coding in Ruby or Python, strong problem-solving skills, and relevant technical experience to support our client in the online retail space.

Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze data using statistical techniques; generate reports.
- Identify trends within data sets to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage stakeholder requests via JIRA Service Desk, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Address complex challenges through research and communication to meet SLA standards.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features and fix bugs.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years related experience.
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Experience with telemetry/logging tools (DataDog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Sentry).
- Proficient with Jira, Zendesk, Intercom; familiar with automated workflows.
- Experience managing multiple testing environments.
- Understanding of REST APIs and web technologies.
- Ability to read/write Ruby or Python code.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
Preferred:
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly.
- Experience creating customer playbooks and SOPs.
- Strong project management skills.
