Arobas Personnel is seeking a creative and motivated UI Designer for a contract position with one of our top media clients.
*Remote : Hybrid-3 days/week in the office*
What You’ll Do:
Join a dynamic Entertainment Design team shaping the future of streaming platforms like Crave, CTV, and Noovo . You’ll work on enhancing user experiences through personalization, discoverability, and modern design across SVOD and AVOD products.
Under the guidance of the Senior Manager UX/UI, you’ll lead the end-to-end product design cycle:
- Researching user needs
- Creating innovative design concepts
- Developing high-fidelity mockups
- Presenting solutions to stakeholders
- Delivering clean handoffs to development teams
About the Team:
You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team of UX/UI professionals passionate about entertainment, news, and digital innovation. We work on some of the most recognizable brands in Canadian media.
Top 3 Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- UX certification
- Up to 2 years of design experience
- Design systems and technical design background
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business goals into intuitive and elegant user experiences
- Design responsive mockups for web and mobile platforms
- Contribute to and maintain the brand’s design system
- Collaborate with UX research and product strategy teams
- Ensure efficient communication with development for smooth handoffs
- Manage time and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Your Profile:
- Strong portfolio showcasing visual design, UI principles, and creativity
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, XD; Photoshop and Illustrator
- Typography, layout, and design theory expertise
- Understanding of UX methodologies and prototyping is an asset
- 2+ years of professional design experience
- Design education is an asset, but real-world experience counts most
