Description
Responsibilities: Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces. Design the overall functionality of the product to ensure a great user experience, iterating based on user testing. Design user interfaces.
Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Senior UX Designer
- Design experience and expertise in developing strategies to improve user interactions with digital, user-centric products and services, resulting in measurable enhancements and positive feedback.
- Ability to lead the design of complex digital services from concept to production, maintaining high standards for user experience and performance.
- Experience creating design deliverables such as mood boards, empathy maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Experience creating design blueprints, information architecture, presentations, and reports.
- Understanding of user research methods and their integration into the digital product lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with user research planning, recruitment, facilitation, analysis, and insights delivery.
- Ability to synthesize research findings into user journey maps, personas, service blueprints, etc.
- Knowledge of industry best practices to support design deliverables.
- Ability to incorporate analytics, feedback, and performance metrics into design decisions.
- Ability to justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience with Figma and XD Studio is required.
- Experience coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an asset.
Communications (20%)
- Clear communication of designs, recommendations, and advice to stakeholders.
- Collaboration with technical and business experts to gather key information.
- Strong facilitation skills for design discussions and negotiations.
Agile Product Development (20%)
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Willingness to iterate based on feedback.
- Experience sharing design tasks with multiple designers.
Design Portfolio (20%)
- Include a link to your portfolio of work.
Must Have
- Design expertise in improving user interactions with digital products.
- Ability to lead digital service design from concept to production.
- Experience with Figma and XD Studio.
- Experience coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (asset).
- Effective communication and stakeholder presentation skills.
