OVERVIEW
Perform duties related to Vascular testing in accordance with the policies of the Lab.
EDUCATION
- Registered Vascular Technologist
- Advanced education/training in peripheral vascular and carotid testing, procedures and/or 2 years experience in related area
- B.C.L.S. required
- Registered Vascular Technologist Diploma preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently
- Ability to problem solve and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and patients
- Highly motivated to pursue educational goals
- Experience in the operation of vascular testing equipment, patient preparation, recording and reading of results preferred
- Demonstrated teaching and leadership skills
- Good work and attendance record required
