The VB.NET Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, and MS SQL Server . The role involves backend database management, troubleshooting, and integrating cloud-based workflows using Azure Functions and Logic Apps . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in .NET development, SQL optimization, and cloud automation .
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Maintenance:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using VB.NET and C#.
- Improve application performance and user experience by implementing best coding practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues for existing applications.
Database Development & Optimization
- Design and implement MS SQL Server solutions, including writing and optimizing stored procedures.
- Ensure database performance tuning and efficient query execution.
- Manage data integrity, indexing, and security within the SQL environment.
Cloud & Automation Integration
- Develop Azure Functions and Logic Apps to automate workflows and integrate various systems.
- Implement serverless computing solutions to improve application efficiency.
- Support cloud-based data processing and system integrations.
Collaboration & Best Practices
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to .NET development best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve skills and system architecture.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in VB.NET development with strong C# skills.
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, database design, and query optimization.
- Basic understanding of Azure Functions and Logic Apps for cloud automation and workflow integration.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting applications for performance improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services.
- Familiarity with .NET Core or other modern frameworks.
- Experience with Power BI or Reporting Services (SSRS) for data visualization.
- Experience with Git or other version control tools.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.30/hour – $61.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
